1. Agreement Overview
By purchasing any of the below packages, the client agrees to a 36-month (3-year) monitoring agreement with ViaProtection (the “Company”). Monitoring services begin upon installation and activation of the alarm system.


2. Package Options
Package 1 – Basic Protection
Installation Fee: $199 (one-time payment)
Monthly Monitoring Fee: $24.95/month
Term: 36 months


Package 2 – Plus Protection
Installation Fee: $299 (one-time payment)
Monthly Monitoring Fee: $29.95/month
Term: 36 months


Package 3 – Premium Protection
Installation Fee: $399 (one-time payment)
Monthly Monitoring Fee: $34.95/month
Term: 36 months


3. Ownership of Equipment
Upon completion of the 36-month agreement and full payment of all fees, the client will own the installed equipment.
If the agreement is terminated before the end of the term, the equipment remains the property of ViaProtection until all outstanding fees and penalties are paid.


4. Early Termination

If the client cancels the monitoring service before the end of the 36-month term, an early termination fee will apply.
This fee is calculated as the remaining monthly payments due under the contract.


5. Payment Terms
The monthly monitoring fee is billed automatically each month.
Late or declined payments may result in suspension of monitoring services.
The installation fee and first month of monitoring are due upon installation.


6. Service and Maintenance
Standard warranty applies to equipment during the 36-month agreement for manufacturer defects.
Service calls for user error, physical damage, or non-warranty issues may incur additional charges.


7. Client Responsibilities
The client must maintain an active internet connection or phone line as required for system monitoring.
The client must notify ViaProtection of any changes to contact information or network provider that may affect service.
Smoke and fire monitoring (if applicable) must comply with insurance or municipal requirements.


8. Renewal
At the end of the 36-month term, the agreement will automatically continue on a month-to-month basis at the same monitoring rate unless the client provides written notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to renewal.


9. Cancellation Policy
To cancel monitoring services, written notice must be sent to info@viaprotection.com.
All cancellations are effective 30 days after written notice is received, and any outstanding balance must be paid in full before cancellation is processed.


10. Limitation of Liability
ViaProtection is not responsible for any losses, damages, or claims arising from alarm system failure, signal interruption, or delays in response by monitoring centers or emergency services.

Clients who qualify for the Free Communicator Promotion agree to the following terms:

1. Upfront payment:

The client must pay one full year of monitoring fees upfront at the time of installation.

2. Agreement Term:

The promotion is based on a 36-month (3-year) monitoring agreement.
The client agrees to maintain active monitoring service for the full duration of the 36-month term.
 

3. Agreement Overview:

If the client does not fulfill their monitoring obligation for the second or third year of the agreement, ViaProtection reserves the right to retrieve the communicator from the premises.
Alternatively, if the communicator is not returned, the client agrees to pay a penalty fee of $200 for each unfulfilled year of the agreement.

4. Agreement Overview:

The communicator remains the property of ViaProtection until the agreement is fulfilled in full.

After the 36-month term and all payments are completed, the client will own the equipment.
